Sue Lawrence is a metalsmith and jeweler who creates one of a kind "Artful Accents" in copper, brass, bronze,and sterling silver. She has been hand forming, forgeing, and fabricating jewelry and art from sheet metal and wire for 10 years. She loves to manipulate metal, texture it, and add finally add color with different patinas. Patina or tarnish on metal adds depth and character to the pieces that Sue creates. Sue refers to the patina that forms on metals exposed to the air and water of Eastern NC as the "Eastern Carolina Patina."
