Bio

"I started drawing in grade school and took my first art oourse by correspondence in high school. During college I studied Art History and did set design for plays.

"While in medical school, I took life drawing and painting courses on the main campus and won a medical school exhibition prize for life drawing.

"In England in 1969 I hadf two drawings selectyed to be part of an annual National Show and they were exhibited in London.

"Since then, I have drawn and painted as an avocation and have some of my work on exhihit at CASG. I am also a member of the Arts Council of Carteret Co and participate in their Adopt an Artist Program.

"Today I do mostly seacapes and mountain landscapes in pastel, pen and ink, charcoal and watercolor. I still enjoy doing figure drawing.

"I hope to do more painting and drawing in the coming years."
